F. STARTING A BUSINESS

The Economic Development Board of Madagascar (EDBM) was set up to reduce the administrative burden of setting up a company. EDBM offered a one-stop facility where all procedures are completed within 4 business days. Among the services provided by EDBM are the company registration, issuance of working visa, issuance of authorization for land ownership, delivery of tax ID and statistical ID, and issuance of activity-related licenses, permits and authorizations required by the regulations.
